Interlock fabric is also known as double knit fabric. Thisis another type of weft knitted fabric. But it differs from single jerseyfabric in that it's manufactured using two rows of needles. You can picture itlike two layers of single jersey fabric, knitted together back to back.

This kind of fabric is highly stable and heavier as compared to jersey fabric due to cotton interlocking work. The offered fabric does not stretch out of shape as easily as jersey.
